A book of interpermeating layers, LODE is also a collection of fading impressions left onto artist Veronica Graham after looking into Nevada’s boom and bust culture of the late 19th century. While the graphical landscapes come and go as you flip through, Graham has made a pattern of mine shafts puncture the entire design to hint at the time-rending impact of human whimsy.
